Dr. Rodney Stanfield
Dr. Rodney Stanfield is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He is the founder of Stanfield Chiropractic and has practiced in Effingham since 1991. Dr Rodney is married and the father of three children. He is active in his church, Effingham Assembly, where he serves as Executive Pastor. Dr. Rodney is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the American Chiropractic Association. He has a special interest in whiplash injuries and is advanced certified with the Spine Research Institute of San Diego in treating these types of injuries. Dr. Rodney considers it a honor and privilege to serve his patients and community.
Dr. Kyle Hammerschmidt
Dr. Kyle Hammerschmidt is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He was awarded his Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also awarded the Research Award at Logan University for his dedication and insight on a semester long research project. Dr. Kyle decided to be a chiropractor after years of sports injuries and seeking out chiropractic care to resolve his injuries. Upon graduation in 2013, Dr. Kyle joined Stanfield Chiropractic as an Associate Doctor.
During his training at Logan University, Dr. Kyle had the chance to work with the Sports Medicine Department at University of Missouri where he had the opportunity to work with high school and professional athletes.
Dr. Kyle Hammerschmidt looks forward to providing safe and effective chiropractic care for Effingham County and surrounding areas for years to come!
Dr. Jon Serafini
Dr. Jon Serafini earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Missouri Baptist, where he was also a collegiate baseball athlete. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University; while there he received the Logan Body Mechanics award. Dr. Jon is passionate about working with patients of all ages to help them reach their maximum health potential.
Dr. Alan Presswood
Dr. Presswood has been in active practice since 1978. First serving patients in Illinois until 1984; and then running his own practice in St. Charles, Missouri for over 30 years. After retiring in 2016 for just a few weeks, he felt the desire to go back to work. He found Stanfield Chiropractic to be a good fit for his experience and ability to manage difficult cases. He also enjoys preforming music with his son throughout Southern Illinois and has been a musician for over 50 years. Dr. Alan is also an active athlete, winning the Senior Olympics in Racquetball held in St. Louis in 2011, and pitching in the Senior World Series of Baseball held in Florida each year.
